Inspired by the beauty of flora, fauna and the ocean's seascapes Kimberlin Brown’s collections are created by hand in her New York City studio. She takes great strides in creating responsibly with beautiful natural resources. She uses recycled and clean mined gold. Working directly with gem mines and gem purveyors assures her stones are ethical, conflict-free, and exceptional in quality and color. Her use of color is distinctive and as varied as a coral reef -using diamonds, the spectrum of sapphires, opals, emeralds, rubies, rainbow moonstones, rutile quartz, tourmaline, and turquoise. She custom cuts many of her stones to capture light enhancing their beauty. Tahitian and Japanese pearls in aubergine, gold and peacock hues are also favorite iridescent centerpieces that need no altering.
